As a Cumbria & Lake District wedding photographer, I've worked at all different kinds of wedding venues, and as you can imagine in all sorts of weather! Your wedding can be one of the best days of your life and that's why it's so important to make sure you make the right decision when choosing a photographer.

 

I like to build a relationship with my couples before the wedding so you're completely relaxed when I'm around. This usually means meeting up before the wedding for a beer or a gin - I love gin! Or if I'm quite far away from you we can Skype. My approach to wedding photography will have you completely relaxed, not even knowing I'm even there as I unobtrusively capture your day allowing you to enjoy yourself with those that mean most to you.

We received a collection of pictures soon after our wedding, then the full album within the month. The photographs we received were more perfect than we could have ever hoped for. James has such a beautifully natural and romantic style, from two people that don’t usually like our photographs taken. Our wedding was such a special and magical day for us, James managed to capture this in his photos for us to cherish and remember in years to come."
