FAQ's
Where are you based?
I live just outside Kendal on the edge of the Lake District.
However, I am available for weddings all over the UK and across
Europe. If your wedding is further than 100 miles away from
me then travel expenses will apply.
How do we book you?
All I need to secure your date is a booking form to be filled out
and returned along with your £250 booking fee.
How many pictures will we get?
I usually deliver around 500-700 images from a wedding day. However,
every wedding is different and the number of images taken
will depend on how many locations we use, timings
on the day and the amount of time between the ceremony and your
wedding breakfast.
How long will it be until we can see our pictures?
You will receive a sneak peek gallery around 30 images within a week of your
wedding, however delivery of the full gallery will usually be 6-8 weeks
after the wedding day.
Can we print our photos?
Of course you can! They're your pictures! I just ask that you
don't use them commercially. However, you can buy high quality prints directly from you online gallery.
Do you take group shots?
Yes. I ask will ask you for a list of no more than 8 group shots a few weeks before the wedding. This will usually take between 20-30 minutes. Ushers can be very helpful to gather people required for pictures during this period!
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes.
Do you require food on the day?
I will never turn down the offer of a meal!
What equipment do you use?
I use Nikon DSLR's and love shooting with high quality prime lenses which have a fixed focal length (I have to zoom with my feet!). I also carry many other lenses in my bag from very wide angle, to show the bigger picture, all the way to long telephoto lenses the capture all the laughter during the speeches and occasional tear during the ceremony.
